Lowe Bangkok has released this new print campaign for Scholl Crystal (SSL Healthcare, Thailand Ltd).

This is quite a strategic breakthrough….a non-slip slipper that won’t let you slip. Looks like one chef made this dish all by himself. No account guys or client were in the kitchen at the time. Also, that gravelly floor in the Milk execution, doubt anyone would ever slip on a rough uneven surface like that in the first place.
Having said that, its a Gold at Cannes!

Campaign brief is only making the problem worse by showcasing ads as shallow as these.
6.16 – you’re wrong man! You can’t blame Campaign Brief for our actions. Everyone of us has done ads like these. Or tried to.
These are just ads. These are not Titanium entries. They are entered into Print and poster categories. And, like it or not, ads like these win awards in those categories and they have done for so for the last 20 years and I suspect will continue to for the next 20.

It annoys me that some out there think we should be creating a “Tap Project” idea every time we put a pen to paper. As 9.20 said these are designed as just print ads. And good ones too.
Didn’t this campaign pick up awards at Adfest and judged by a jury headed by Mark Tutssel? I would take his opinion over most others any day.
i dont know, my gut’s immediate reaction is to like these.
but then it thinks some more (my gut does that), and it thinks “don’t these feel just a little bit 2005?”
