O&M Frankfurt are either pissed or flattered.
God! This has to stop. This ad is an imitation of 50 other ads that have all been done recently!
TBWA did the dolls ad.
Y&R did babies flying helicopters for some dating site.
And Ogilvy around the world has done countless matchbox ads.
Ads that try to convince smart people that crappy little plastic replicas are the ‘real thing’ are just so ridiculous.
It’s because these 45+ year old ECDs still think this stuff is relevant. Same ideas they were thinking of 10 years ago.
