Miller, who left JWT in May, said V+ exists to provide alternate and integrated communication solutions for clients and agencies alike.

“V+ has the capability to enhance existing agency briefs or take on projects independently. Our strategic, ideation (creative) and production capabilities make it possible for us to take on projects from start to finish,” explained Miller.

“By using V+, the client is guaranteed director’s input at the beginning of the creative process instead of at the end, after the script has been sold in. This cross-pollination between production and creative will allow for better creative input and tighter script development. It keeps the work fresh and constantly gives new perspectives.”

Miller said having a director on board at the start of a project will also reduce the lengthy cost debates that usually arise at every job.

“At V+, the creative idea sits at the centre of everything we do and we immediately surround it with the best of breed. The idea remains king and getting to the best ideas is why we embrace diversity of disciplines and backgrounds. V+ is ultimately an idea factory. We will not depend on processes, systems or dozens of bag carriers. If it doesn’t benefit the creative idea we will eliminate it.”

One of the reasons Miller and Munchick started V+ was to have the freedom to challenge the usual methods of communication. To do whatever it takes to create conversations around brands. Because they work with anyone and everyone in order to generate the best solutions, there is no single entity that they see as a competitor.

“We’re much more focused on collaboration than competition. And we have fun doing it.”
