O my god….are these curtains that don’t allow anyone to peek into someone’s house and private life? Finally.
I have an idea for all small businesses out there. If you make soap, hairpins, shower curtains or anything similar, just talk to Ogilvy Asia Pacific. They will do an ad campaign for you for free. That’s right, 100% free. Photography – free. Illustration – free. Talent – free. If Ogilvy doesn’t want to do it, speak to McCann, or Euro RSCG, or Leo Burnett. You don’t have to spend advertising money ever again.
Scam debate aside, this creative expression is fresh although I find the platform “the curtains that keep your privacy” is a given thing. It’s the same issue with “Mosquitoes are evil” platform. You’ll kill me for this, but I’ll still award the mosquito caricatures in the illustration category.
…of all the most recent “agency-financed visual gag scam ad campaign of three (two in this case) executions” featured here (boning knife, evil mosquitoes, and this), this is the most entertaining.
and all these years I’ve been draping my curtains over my windows and I was actually supposed to drape them over myself whilst having a 3 way, who would have known?
Trading profit for publicity, what a sustainable business model.
Silly me- they could just keep the profit but cut headcount instead.
The platform, “Curtains that keep your privacy” is a no-brainer, but I’ll give you this – the creative expression is fresh. Very fresh.
