Unilever 1.jpgOgilvy & Mather Singapore in partnership with Unilever and its brand Comfort have developed a campaign to save water across Vietnam and Indonesia.

This initiative spearheaded by Comfort One Rinse, a product which helps save up to 20 litres of water every time one person does their laundry, forms part of Unilever’s Sustainable Living Plan.

“Unilever and Ogilvy worked hand in hand to create this iconic piece of communication that links rinsing to the water crisis and explains to the people of Vietnam and Indonesia that their own washing is part of the problem,” said Aseem Puri, Regional Brand Director for Comfort. “With Comfort One Rinse they can become part of the solution.”

Unilever 3.jpgAndre Jewell was chosen as the director of the two TVCs as he has a passion for water conservation which goes back to 2000 when he set up The Holiwater Project to raise awareness about the Ganges river and has made a feature length film Holiwater.

So far, 2.4 million litres of water have been pledged to be saved in Indonesia.
