Campaigns & Grey picks up USAID health project
The U.S. Embassy Manila’s U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has appointed Campaigns & Grey to a health communications project that advocates healthy behaviors.
The Communication for Health Advancement through Networking and Governance Enhancement (CHANGE) is a five-year project that will support the Philippines Department of Health advocate for healthy behaviors and create a demand for health services in a focused and creative manner. The project will develop and deliver national health communication campaigns, messages, standards, modules, tools and templates. It will liaise with local government units, NGOs and private sector.
USAID/Philippines Mission Director Gloria Steele remarked, “This new project supports our shared vision to achieve broad based and inclusive growth through better health. We believe that inclusive and equitable economic growth requires a healthy and productive population, and this new project will complement existing bilateral efforts to achieve this objective. CHANGE is not simply about developing a new set of communication tools but about using new and innovative approaches to create demand for better health services.”
“Campaigns & Grey firmly believes in supporting the local community. We are the first agency in the country to set up a corporate social responsibility unit called Campaigns Social Response (CSR) unit,” commented Yoly Ong, Group Chairperson, Campaigns & Grey (pictured). “This project will allow us to demonstrate our creative approach in implementing the right strategy, media platforms and communications tools for CHANGE that will ultimately help to deliver quality, universal health care for every Filipino.”
