This significant appointment follows a three-way pitch against two other international agencies. Bates CHI&Partners Singapore and Taiwan partnered on the win, a demonstration of what CEO David Mayo (pictured left) says is their collaborative business model and ability for the young network to punch above its weight.

“ASUS and Intel® are amongst the forerunners of innovation – they have fantastic products, are very ambitious and are forward thinking in their approach,” said Mayo. “We look forward to pushing creativity on this campaign to a high level, as a brilliant example of what we stand for at Bates CHI&Partners – Big Ideas for Ambitious Brands. They have big plans to grow which is why they hired us. This kind of ambition is what we look for in the clients we work with.”

The next stage of the global Effie-winning campaign, known as ‘In Search of Incredible’, will be a fully integrated campaign that creates an immersive digital experience for consumers.

“After two successful years, our ‘In Search of Incredible’ campaign is still engaging consumers in searching for incredible experiences. This is made possible through ASUS and Intel’s leading technology and our customer centric approach. We are excited to deliver another leading global campaign in 2013,” said Jeff Yang, Marketing Director, ASUS. “Bates CHI&Partners’ were ambitious and excited about working with us from the outset” added Yang on reasons behind the agency’s win. The creative idea they developed was a new approach to our global ‘In Search of Incredible’ platform and it importantly had digital at the centre. The team was agile and fast, an indication of their readiness to work in the fast paced IT market.”
