Dentsu_AdFest.jpgDentsu Inc totally dominated the AdFest 2014 awards with an outstanding performance winning three of the Festivals major awards that included Network of the Year, Agency of the Year and Interactive Agency of the Year.

Dentsu Inc received the top award, the Grande Lotus, in an amazing five categories – Film, Interactive, Promo, Design and Integrated categories.

Together with other Dentsu Group companies they also won five Gold Lotuses, sixteen Silver Lotuses, nineteen Bronze Lotuses and one INNOVA Lotus award for a total of 46 awards across twelve categories.

Honda.jpgThe highlight of the show was Dentsu’s Internavi “Sound of Honda/Ayrton Senna 1989” concept. Honda used telemetry driving data recorded from Ayrton Senna’s world record lap during qualifying for Formula One Japanese Grand Prix in 1989. Twenty years after he died Honda brings back the raw engine sounds of the race car without the car physically being on the track. LED light fixtures and thousands of speakers were used.

Also a Grande Lotus winner in Film was Cup Noodle “Globalisation” – by Dentsu and Tohokushinsha Film Corporation, Japan.

And the beautifully crafted Bell-Net Obstetrics “Mother Book” in the Design category. For an obstetrician company called Bell-Net Obstetrics, it features an exquisitely crafted die-cut book that depicts the growth of a baby in a womb, page-by-page.
