Social Matters.jpgMarking its first foray into Singapore, Social Matters will be part of All That Matters, a pioneering industry event delivering a 360 degree perspective of the digital entertainment business. The full day event on May 23rd, 2014 will gather global and regional specialists from many of the world’s most valuable brands including Coca-Cola, Nissan, Philips, Mondelēz, Ericsson, Hilton, as well as leading social media platforms such as LinkedIn, LINE, BuzzFeed, Visually, HootSuite, SurveyMonkey and many more to examine how companies can effectively implement social media to dramatic effect.

Last year’s event in Hong Kong attracted over 900 attendees comprised of 700 senior executive delegates and 250 screaming teenage fans of a YouTube star. This year’s “Brands as Creators”- themed event will be held at The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore and will showcase companies that brands can co-create powerful content with, including YouTube stars, visualization services and the “best of…” brands that are creating and applying content in the most innovative ways.

Thomas Crampton, Global Managing Director of Social@Ogilvy, risked his life while saying many things about this event in this Social Matters Deathwish Cam video.

Crampton (pictured) adds, “As brands increasingly look to co-create or develop their own content, they face the challenge of moving towards an effective model of publishing, with the right tools for acceleration. We have a stellar line-up for Social Matters in Singapore, with discussions ranging from pitfalls to avoid, to the secrets of award-winning content and innovations in audience reach. Ultimately, what makes consumers share.”
