BBH Asia Pacific launches music video ‘get che-ras to Cheras’ for opening of new IKEA store
Get ready for the biggest housewarming party ever – the opening of Malaysia’s second IKEA store in Cheras, a suburb of Kuala Lumpur. To celebrate the opening of the new IKEA Cheras store, BBH Asia Pacific has created a music video, featuring the brightest stars of IKEA stores – its products. In the execution, IKEA products dance and encourage you to ‘Get Che-ras to Cheras’.
Tinus Strydom and Maurice Wee, Creative Directors, BBH Asia Pacific said, “A catchy tune, a funny pun, a twerking panda. I think we used all the tricks in the book to make sure people know about the new IKEA Cheras.”
The lyrics in the music video are inspired by all things IKEA: “You people wanna DANSA, You’re NORDLI only ones. Join the DUDERÖ’s and GURLIS, MALMS and their PAPPIS.”
