Seven Sunday Films + BBDO Indonesia set bikes against runners in a celebration of friendship
Continuing a somewhat epic run of GG Surya Pro Mild films, Seven Sundays film director Samuel Bennetts, in partnership with BBDO Indonesia, continues to take the brand in the distinct and fun new direction he first introduced into the campaign at the beginning of the year, this time in the latest offering entitled “Biker & Runner”.
Misdirection remains at the heart of the campaign as the film makes the audience think that they’re looking at the world of competitive racing and running, but then turns that idea completely on it’s head as it introduces the films real heroes with irreverence and fun. The underlying message of the film is a celebration of friendship and mutual support between a group of friends, rather than a competition to win between athletes.
The film was shot by talented Hong Kong Cinematographer Ah Tung, who once again brought the film to life with a rich cinematographic palette and dynamic camera that captured the spirit of the Surya Pro Mild way of life.
The film was produced by Seven Sundays EP Rachel Srisumarsih, continuing her long collaboration with both the brand and agency.
