As head of Brand, Arthawan (pictured left) will have immediate responsibility for its vision, strategy, and operations. He is developing and introducing new tools, products, and methodologies for the Account, Strategic Planning, Creative & Production, Content, and the Digital Intelligence Center teams as Edelman Indonesia’s communications marketing evolves and continues its evolution.

“I am very pleased to kick start 2017 by welcoming Bobby to the Edelman Indonesia family. His vast experience and expertise in marketing will be a valuable addition to our brand teams as our communications marketing model evolves,” said Siva. “As Edelman streamlines its offering into two clear practices; Brand and Reputation, this hire reflects Edelman Indonesia’s seriousness in building depth in our Brand Practice.”

With over a decade of experience at award-winning advertising, creative, and brand agencies BBDO Worldwide, Ogilvy One, Grey Group, and GOMOBILE, Arthawan was most recently president director at Dentsu Indonesia, where he led the company to the most wins in Dentsu Indonesia’s history of international creative awards in 2014 and 2015. The company also became the largest profit contributor in the Dentsu Aegis Network in 2015 under his leadership. His other achievements also include having led Grey Group Indonesia to achieve the highest growth in the Asia Pacific region for two consecutive years.

“Brands are in constant need to grow true relevancies to increase true value towards its market. The way we communicate to market a brand demands us to talk with and to the target in honest and relevant ways,” said Arthawan. “I believe that Edelman has the clear vision and passion to lead this space for our brands. I’m equally excited and grateful to take part in this progression of communications marketing.”
