SEEN+NOTED: NATURAL PAINT COLOURS
February 23 2009, 2:42 pm | | 11 Comments
JWT Mumbai has created an innovative hoarding for Berger Paints where a live painter appeared to be extending the blue of the sky on to the hoarding itself.
This was done by creating dramatic cut outs in the hoarding in the actual shape of the roller strokes. The ‘live’ billboard proved to be a traffic stopper.

That’s a great one!
Do you know the release date?
Thanks

This should do very well at award shows. Another great ad from India!!
What if it’s a rainy day and the sky is grey? See through billboards have been done quite often.
I don’t think it matters if it is rainy. It’s still a good idea and a real person hanging off the billboard would get noticed by people walking by. I wonder how long they had the guy hanging there. It would be good to think that they had the billboard up for a few weeks and there was a big pr push behind it. Hope he was not just up there for the time it took to take this photo.
Correct. The conditions do not matter.
The idea shines through regardless.
Good point about the rainy day. Just another scam work done for the perfect day. We’re doing ads for consumers not for awards.

The judges these days are the same kids who do ads like these, so they won’t be asking tough inconvenient questions like these.
Clever. Really clever. Well done.
It is tough times in every industry right now but I still say we have to believe in creativity and celebrate excellent work when we see it. Thumbs up JWT!
Have to love Indian agencies efforts. They are the reason I dont bother visiting Ads of the World anymore as there are too much scams from indian agencies being submitted.
I’d like to see live vision of this. Is it entered to AdFest JWT? Should do well.
