Isn’t the exact same idea done for Alka Seltzer, or some other indigestion remedy? Im sure Ive seen it, probably in CB.
Ya. Can’t remember the brand. But definitely seen this before for another brand. Recycling is in – part of recession?
There’s lots of unintentional recycling in advertising. I certainly haven’t see this idea before. I like it. Well done O&M Mumbai.
Have seen this idea before.
Yes 10.01. But unintentional recycling won’t win awards – the earlier versions always catch up sooner or later.
This one is obviously another one of those begging for an award – question is will it manage to get away with it? I doubt it – didn’t see this winning at adfest.
I wouldn’t judge an awards success based on it’s performance at AdFest.
This campaign may not win a Gold Lion but it will certainly figure at other award shows throughout the year. Let’s not get too critical here or point the finger about recycling. It’s a nice idea, well produced and good enough for finalists and the odd bronze at awards.
The product makes you vomit. Great strategy.
Dead right 9.54. Not going to clean up at shows but a worthy creative effort.
Never heard of exaggeration to make a point 7.06?
9.54 I guess theres exaggeration and exaggeration. Altoids ads use exaggeration but in a charming witty disarming way. This just leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
Will we ever know if this campaign was successful? What are the chances this ran only once? Maybe you can tell us 9.54 since its possible work at the agency who did this.
It’s good enough to be in the top 6 of the week on the Best Ads site and not only that but it was chosen as the very best by Mr Darren Spiller, chief creative officer, Fallon US.
