Castrol’s 40 year old car
This new Castrol GTX film out of Ogilvy & Mather Singapore celebrates the evolution of one car over 40 years. Each of the owners treats the car differently – while some are careless with it, some clearly adore it. And yet after 40 years, the car is still running and in extremely good condition. That is a feat that can be achieved because the owners used only one fuel – Castrol GTX. View the spot here.
Special effects for the spot were created by Sydney post house, Post Modern and the spot was directed by Sam Bennets from The Feds, Sydney.

No one owns cars that are 40 years old in Singapore. In fact, the medium age of cars on the road there is about 4 years.
11.14 is spot on. For some reason the styling of the ad looks 40 years old too
