Patrick Low to leave Y&R Singapore

patricklow.jpgAfter 22 years at Y&R Singapore, Patrick Low has announced he’s leaving as ECD. Well-loved by past and present staff and widely respected by clients and peers as one of Singapore longest serving creative leaders, Patrick Low has been the creative brand guardian of countless memorable campaigns for Y&R’s stable of blue chip clients. He has also spotted and mentored generations of younger creative talents who have gone on to greater heights in Singapore and abroad.

“His steadfast creative partnership has helped Y&R Singapore becomeone of the Y&R network’s most prolific offices. With our recent newbusiness wins and creative showings in the last few years, Patrick has(borrowing his favourite sporting analogy) chosen to leave the stadiumat the top of his game and I will miss his partnership,” said TanujPhilip Group CEO, Y&R Singapore.

Patrick was named 2007 Creative Director of the Year and is only one offour creative doyens to have been bestowed the honour of Champion ofthe Creative Circle Awards for his decades of contributions to theindustry. He was the first local Chairman of the CCA who had set thepath for other Singaporean Creatives to follow. He was also the firstco-chairman of the students Crowbar Awards.  

“I am leaving the office at a time where it is bigger, stronger andmore creative than when I first took over. I am confident it willcontinue to progress after my departure,” added Patrick. “Right now, Iam looking forward to a much-needed break and start enjoying life at aslower pace with my wonderful wife and family whom I have very muchneglected,” said Patrick. He added, “The only running I’ll be doing fornow will be on the soccer pitch.”
