YoungGuns jury in Sydney for judging

Tony Granger.jpgTheYoungGuns jury are gathering in Sydney in the next few days to judgethe best young and emerging creative talent from the around the world.The 2009 jury chairman is Tony Granger (left), global chief creativeofficer Y&R and it includes other global and local jury memberssuch as Amir Kassaei, DDB; Ravi Deshpande, Contract India; Miss LisaFedyszyn, Colenso BBDO; Eric Kallman andCraig Allen, Wieden & Kennedy; Dave Bowman, Saatchi & Saatchi; Andy DiLallo, Leo Burnett and Justin Baird, Google. Thereis also a online digital jury including Nick Law, RGA;  Seb Royce,Glue; Fabio Custer, Cutwater and Adam Good, Clemenger Group.

The shortlist will be announced on Monday November 23.

Forthe announcement of the 2009 Winners & Finalists, YoungGuns areholding one of their Sydney party award nights. It goes without sayingthat YoungGuns parties tend to be an event not to be missed, not justfor the work but for the party itself.

As usual all winners and finalists work will be exhibited.Alcohol is being provided by Lion Nathan, Google will have a CreativeSandbox and there will be 2 kicking live DJs, DJ Shane and Miss B, aswell as an upcoming band – The Hooks.

YoungGuns will also be broadcasting the 2009 Winners & FinalistsReel through their YouTube channel at the same time as it is shown inSydney, for those that can’t make it.

As usual for YoungGuns all this is free, but numbers are limited. Early next week, registration will be available on their siteincluding more details about the whole night.
