Orangutans imprisoned in the city

Orangutan.jpgEach day hundreds of orangutans are captured in the forests of Borneo and Sumatra. They are kept in cages no bigger than these abandoned monorail structures littered around Jakarta and are sold, dead or alive, on the black market. Y&R Jakarta brought their plight to the public’s attention with this outdoor installation.
