Spikes Asia opens with presentations from jury members on the winning work at Cannes 2010
This year the Spikes Asia Festival will open with delegates spending the afternoon examining some of the world’s greatest work in advertising as awarded by Cannes Lions this year. The entry deadline is 23 July 2010 and the festival will take place in Singapore, 19-22 September 2010. On day one experts will provide an overview and commentary on work in the various competition sections, with video interviews from the Cannes Lions Jury Presidents and Jurors providing further insight into the winning entries and why they were awarded. Among the speakers will be Tay Guan Hin, regional ECD of JWT Asia, who will present his selection of winning Outdoor work.

Guan Hin, heard that this year’s Outdoor Lions winning work sucks big time. Is that true?
Hey 11:34 PM…
Are you jealousy?
out here in the rest of the world, nobody takes south east asian creatives seriously (except for donald gunn who’s in it all for the money and honey) as most if not all are scams. and being that bangkok and singapore lead the world in scam artists that couldn’t do work for real clients for the life of them, us big boys have to fly in from london, ny or sydney to clean up after your frigin mess. so have fun and drown your sorry selves and try not to fekk anything up with real clients like you’ve been doing for the past decade. stick to the land rover owner’s association
I have the same feeling,
I have not read the winning entries outdoor, only short-listed real good works.
Why????
Why wait till Sept. to see the Cannes outdoor work? They don’t need to be presented or explained.
11.34 – why don’t you just look at the winners list and decide for yourself?
2.02 – er, that’s not a word. And since he’s asking what the standard was probably not.
10.39 – I’m bitter too but reading your post is saddening.
11.24 – have you heard of the interweb? No? here you go then. http://www.canneslions.com/work/outdoor/
I’ve got too much time on my hands, reduced to commenting instead of creating.
*sigh*
