Cheil hires Jeffrey Curtis as new global CD

Jeffrey Curtis_Cheil.jpgInkeeping up with its global expansion plans to attract more globaltalent, Korea’s largest ad agency Cheil Worldwide has appointed JeffreyCurtis as Global Creative Director.

Prior to joining Cheil,Curtis was Regional Creative Director at Lowe Thailand, where he workedon global brands such as Unilever, including Rexona, Pepsodent, ClearShampoo, Sunlight and Omo/Surf.  From 2001 to 2005, Curtis wasExecutive Creative Director at Lowe Thailand, where he was responsiblefor the the creative output of 35 clients, both local andmulti-national. Among these clients are Unilever, Coca Cola, Johnson& Johnson, Dumex, Cerebos, Suntory and Mercedes. During his periodat Lowe Thailand, the agency was awarded with the most creative awardscompared to previous years.

Before his move to Bangkok, Curtis was based in London where he wasSenior Art Director at Lowe Howard Spink/ Lowe Lintas. He will be basedat the Seoul headquarters and will report to Alistair Wood (ExecutiveCreative Director). Cheil has 29 networks in 25 countries with over1,500 employees.
