Valpone appointed to JWT regional PR role

Alyson Valpone has taken on the role of JWT Asia Pacific’s Regional PR Executive. The appointment comes after Amy Mellor, who previously held the role of Regional Communications Director for JWT APAC, decided to take a break from her professional career to focus on family life.

Valpone joins JWT APAC from the New York office where she spent the past three years working on JWT’s Global Corporate Communications team. Since April, Alyson has been based out of the Singapore office, covering for Amy Mellor during her maternity leave.  Effective immediately, Alyson will take on the role full time.

“Alyson will work closely with the JWT Asia Pacific offices to promote our creative, talent and business developments and to grow the JWT brand across the region,” said Michael Maedel, JWT President. “Her extensive knowledge of the JWT network and energetic disposition are the right mix to communicate JWT’s many stories.”
