Interpret the story
Ogilvy & Mather Mumbai created this series of billboard ads for The Economist to make people “interpret the world” so to speak.
Each billboard bore three seemingly unrelated visuals placed within each other, which together told a set of inter-related, globally relevant stories. Each billboard also carried a code that people could text to a given number, after which they’d be texted the respective stories in return.

oh man, this kind of execution is DTD – done-to-death.
This work also took bronze lions, which the Executive has done 10 000 times over.
why!
Saw a land rover campaign with the exact same execution.
Only SEEMINGLY unrelated? I think you’re asking a lot to show an inexplicable ad and expect consumers to can be bothered to sms so you’ll tell them what it means.
And yes, the art direction style is a copy from a Land Cruiser campaign in Oz. You can see it in One Show, though I bet O&M already have.
