Farrokh Madon leaves McCanns Singapore
McCann Erickson Singapore ECD Farrokh Madon has resigned from the agency. At the moment, Madon is not certain of his next port of call but the one thing he is clear about is that his future lies in a place that “walks the talk” on integration and has the structure that can lead to great digital and integrated campaigns.
“I will be chatting with some people over the next couple of months,” Madon told Campaign Brief Asia. “I am in no hurry to find a place, but what I am clear about is that it has to be the right place that gives me a strong platform to produce great creative work in the changing communications landscape.”
“I have achieved what I set out to do at McCann Erickson by creating successful digital and integrated campaigns. During my stint at McCann Erickson Singapore, we’ve won our fair share of regional and local business pitches and brought home a handful of awards including the only Grand Prix in the history of the Effie Awards in Singapore, as well as Golds at Spikes Asia, AdFest and Creative Circle Awards. A new decade is just around the corner and I am excited about the future. It’s time for a new challenge and I look forward to creating great work in a creative environment.”
He said any new role would ideally be based in Singapore, but it could involve regional creative work, but at this stage he is chatting with as many like-minded interested people and agencies as he can.
