Killer Jeans asks ‘What’s Your Cut?’
Killer Jeans has launched a new print campaign via Grey Mumbai that exhorts the youth if India to express themselves and find their own style. The campaign reaches out to the youth by reflecting their own image of themselves and their attitude. This new work, which has a grungy and stylised treatment with lines that unabashedly declare one’s unique opinion, is spread across print ads, hoardings, bus wraps and panels.

Diesel, badly done.
‘Youth in India to express themselves’… ‘reflecting their own image in themselves’…? All the guys in these poorly made collages are Whities…?!
When in doubt….don’t.
There are enough people to screw, why screw the brand? I can see how this campaign must have been sold to the poor sucker of a client ( who obviously is from Ludhaina and has never heard of a brand called Diesel): Arre Sirji, the world is changing. Young people, especially the species called female is taking control etc etc…makes me ashamed to belong to the Indian ad fraternity. If I had done this, I would have kept very quiet, not even told my three wives about this.
This is totally a wrong strategy. But probably the agency says “What the heck, let’s do some collage stuffs! For a change.”
