Leo Burnett Hong Kong show how cars can be destructive on our fragile ecosystem

This is Leo Burnett Hong Kong’s Kam Fan winning print work for Greenpeace. The campaign shows the consequences of excessive car use on fragile ecosystems, highlighted in detailed illustrations within twin tyre tracks. To promote Greenpeace Car Free Day, the agency used a visual consisting of parallel tire tracks by UK illustrator, Matt Johnstone. In one, they show a happy story about driving. In the other, they show the destruction caused by the resulting climate change to illustrate the parallel consequences.
