New senior creative director for Grey Digital India

Navin_photo.jpgNavin Kansal, ex OgilvyOne India, is joining Grey Digital India as Senior Creative Director. Kansal has over 13 years of experience of which the last nine years was at OgilvyOne where he worked on major accounts in the digital space including brands Perfetti, Cadbury, Hutch (now Vodafone), The Economist, Tata Safari as well as Unilever brands like Lipton, Dove and Vaseline. His work for the Mentos Helpline – India’s first extensive video-based website with a fun take on call centres and Lipton Yellow Label’s Stay Sharp campaign – the world’s largest online collaborative jigsaw challenge, has received many accolades. In addition, his work has been recognised at Spikes Asia, Yahoo! Big Idea Chair, Abbys, Effie, AME and Campaign Asia Pacific’s DMA, to name a few.

According to Kansal, “Ogilvy was like home to me and I had a great run there. However, this is the right time for a fresh beginning, and Grey Digital India has an exciting portfolio of brands which include Volkswagen and a talented team that is well-equipped to take the agency further. I look forward to doing some good work here.”

Grey Digital India’s has had some nice wins in recent times, including being the lone Indian digital agency at Spikes Asia 2010, winning the Digital Agency of the Year Award at the first ever Indian Digital Media Awards organised by exchange4media Group, being nominated as Digital Agency of the Year at Campaign Asia Pacific’s Agency of the Year awards, and being a Webby award winner in 2009 and achieving a shortlist in 2010.
