Y&R Hong Kong appoints new client service head

EricChoi.jpgEric Choi has been promoted to Director of Client Services at Y&R Hong Kong.  A Hong Kong native, Choi first joined the agency in 2006 and was previously Regional Account Director for the Regional Colgate team, also managed by Y&R in Hong Kong. He has over 17 years’ experience in the advertising industry and prior to joining Y&R, has worked for DDB, JWT and Ogilvy.  Throughout his career he has worked with many key brands in Hong Kong including Hutchison Mobile, Carlsberg, Olympus, Ocean Park and MTR.  

 

Choi will oversee all communications programs in Hong Kong for clients including Caltex, Campbells, LG, Virgin Atlantic and Colgate HK.

 

Commenting on the promotion he said: “I’m very excited to take up the new challenge. The Hong Kong market is really competitive and just a standard TVC and print campaign is no longer enough. We believe in big ideas which ‘resist the usual’, creating innovative integrated marketing communication programs which help our clients to stand out in the marketplace.”
