Koay moves up at BBDO/ Proximity Malaysia

BBDO/ Proximity Malaysia has promoted Karen Koay to Group Account Director at Proximity Malaysia effective immediately. Koay, who joined the agency 17 months ago, will be tasked with growing the agency’s business, and responsible for the overall operations of Proximity Malaysia. She will also be managing relationships across Proximity Malaysia’s host of clients and advocating digital marketing solutions to ensure collaboration across Proximity and BBDO.

BBDO/Proximity Malaysia’s Group Chief Executive Jennifer Chan says Koay’s promotion is timely even as Proximity’s scope and business grows.

“Karen has been instrumental in growing Proximity’s business organically whilst building an agile accounts management team. I am very sure she will continue to help BBDO/Proximity Malaysia deliver the highest standard of work and ideas to our clients, whilst putting Proximity in the forefront of the digital marketing,” Chan said.
