BBH raise £23,000 for victims of Japan tsunami

The sweat of BBH ers across the globe raised £23,000 in total for victims of the tsunami in Japan. This figure exceeded their target of £20,000.

Starting at 12pm GMT on April 14th, BBH employees embarked on a relentless 24-hour marathon of running, cycling and even group dancing that was broadcast live from all six offices – Singapore, Shanghai, Mumbai, London, New York and Sao Paolo.

An overwhelming flood of donations poured in from across the globe from friends, family, colleagues, BBH partners, and anonymous donors.

In Singapore, the marathon was kicked off on Thursday, April 14th at 7pm and closed on April 15th 7pm by BBH CEO John Hadfield (in his usual corporate attire) and BBH MD Frances Great amidst cheers and support from colleagues. (see picture above)

All funds collected will go towards towards ShelterBox, the international disaster relief agency that’s delivering emergency shelter and lifesaving supplies to those affected in Japan.
