D&AD 2011 Nominations and In-Book list
Campaign Brief Asia announced the D&AD Finalist and Nomination results a few weeks ago with a full listing of Asia’s performances but we have just got our hands on a Excel listing so if you want to view how each country/agency did then download the document here.
To recap, 21 entries from Japan will feature In Book, including seven nominations – three for Dentsu and one apiece for CASE-REAL, Yuusuke Karasawa Architects, Masashi+Qanta+Saqoosha+Hiroki, and HAKUHODO.
12 entries from Hong Kong will feature In Book (up from just one in 2010) with six entries from China also featuring In Book.
In Southeast Asia, 18 entries from Singapore will feature In Book (up 125% from 2010) including one nomination in craft for Illustration for Ogilvy & Mather Singapore. Seven entries from Malaysia will feature In Book including one nomination for McCann Erickson. Entries from Indonesia (three) Philippines (five) and Thailand (three) will also feature In Book.
In the Student Awards, Kyoto Institute of Technology (Japan) and Kookmin University (Republic of Korea), both received one nomination each.
Two entries from Hong Kong Polytechnic University will feature In Book, while CUC – Communication University of China, Universitas Indonesia (UI) and Lasalle College of the Arts (Singapore) will each see one entry feature.

D&AD is in the process of checking and verifying all entries including research into any challenges to compliance with entry criteria raised during judging. Therefore modifications may occur to the finalist and nomination list.
