Lilit Reyes is to join Leo Burnett Singapore as Creative Director. Reyes (left) relocates to Singapore from Manila, where he was most recently with DDB, to take on the new role which will have a key focus on the creative output for United Overseas Bank (UOB).
Commenting on the appointment Chris Chiu, Group Executive Creative Director, Leo Burnett Group Singapore, said,” Having known Lilit for almost 10 years and seeing the work he’s created out of our Manila office, I think it’s fantastic that he’s decided to make the move to Singapore. I’m sure his extensive experience will be a huge asset on one of this agency’s most significant piece of business.”
Not a stranger to Leo Burnett, Reyes has spent 15 years with the agency network working across the Manila and Bangkok offices. Reyes has developed winning campaigns for Tide, McDonald’s as well as Cinemalaya which is the Manila’s equivalent of the Sundance Film Festival.
In addition to Tide and McDonald’s, Reyes has also worked on clients including Tropicana, Gatorade, Philamlife (insurance) and Meralco, the largest electricity distributor in Philippines.
He was also the President of the Creative Guild of the Philippines (the creative arm of the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies 4As) for two consecutive years in 2003 and 2004.
In addition to his credentials as an advertising professional, Reyes is also an award-winning scriptwriter and producer of independent films. His passion for films has been recognized by film festivals from Berlin to Sundance.
