With eighteen years industry experience and a slew of 40 international awards including several Cannes, D&AD and Clio awards, Simon (left) has worked on multinational brands such as Jockey, Louis Philippe, Himalaya, Signature Whiskey, Peter England, Ford, and Pepsi Foods.

“For many years we’d had been hearing from industry peers about someone named Joono who’s got an interesting point of view on things,” said Abhijit Avasthi, Ogilvy’s National Creative Director. “Rajiv and I finally got to meet up with him and hear him out early this year and immediately figured he’s the guy we’ve been looking for. A worthy Creative Head for the Bangalore office after Amit and Maalu, who did a great job for us there. I’m glad we are getting to work with Joono. I believe it’s an association that will be extremely productive and satisfying.”

Before his Colombo stint, Simon was heading the creative team in Mudra South, overseeing the Bangalore, Chennai and Kochi offices. Prior to that, he was the Senior Vice President and Senior Creative Director of JWT Chennai. He has also worked across agencies like Contract, RK Swami BBDO, SSC&B Lintas and MAA Bozell.
