Charles Cadell and Prasoon Joshi promoted to lead McCann Worldgroup in Asia Pacific

Charles Cadel.jpgPrasoon Joshi.jpgCharles Cadell has been promoted to the role of Regional President, McCann Worldgroup Asia Pacific, while Prasoon Joshi has been promoted to South Asia President of McCann Worldgroup.

The joint leadership roles for Asia Pacific are designed to maximize collaboration across this key growth region of the world. Effective immediately, Joshi (right) and Cadell (left) will assume their new roles and will report directly to Nick Brien, Chairman & CEO, McCann Worldgroup.

Based in Singapore, Cadel will assume responsibility of managing and growing McCann Worldgroup businesses across Asia Pacific, including China, Japan, Korea and Australia. On 1st December 2011, Yasuyuki Katagi returned to the McCann network as CEO of McCann Worldgroup Japan and Korea and will report into Charles Cadell. Prasoon Joshi will continue to strengthen McCann Worldgroup’s presence across South Asia, represented by India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

Michael McLaren, CEO & Chairman, McCann Worldgroup Japan, has returned to New York to assume the newly created role of President of MRM East and Chief Client Solutions Director. In this new role, McLaren will assume executive leadership for the company operations across New York, Princeton and Detroit, including oversight for creative excellence, talent development and growth goals. In addition, McLaren will become executive owner of MRM’s top 20 client relationships, with global leadership across these key accounts as well as driving collaboration across McCann Worldgroup.
