KB Vinod and Bhupal Ramnathkar form company

The former Creative Head of Mudra Mumbai, KB Vinod & the founder of Umbrella Design, Bhupal Ramnathkar have come together to start a new integrated creative agency named  Company in Mumbai. This is one of the most significant new agency start ups in India.

But the name could evolve. Their website www.nameus.in asks people to bid for the right to name the agency. The winner gets to name the agency after himself. The money goes to charity. The website has had few thousand visitors over last couple of days, and quite a few genuine bidders as well.

The founders confirm that if this goes well, plans include a name change every year, just the way many brands refresh their logos. Many in the industry feel the idea is interesting and brave.

Bhupal Ramnathakar is a well known designer in India and KB Vinod played a crucial role in the creative renaissance at Mudra over last couple of years. Company currently has 19 employees and operates out of their Mumbai, Lower Parel office.
