TBWA Kuala Lumpur launches Excel Art campaign for Dasein Academy of Art
Excel Art campaign was launched as part of a recruitment drive for Dasein Academy of Art by TBWA Kuala Lumpur. The posters were targeting school leavers who were considering higher education options after secondary school stints.
The agency came up with the Excel Art campaign with the message, “Don’t end up in the wrong field.” It showed artwork done on Excel financial forecast and stationery inventory spreadsheets, a reminder of boring consequences they’ll end up doing if they don’t pursue their interest in art. The campaign was a success with record number of students enrolled for the art courses.

Looks like the Art school is not very creative as it needs an agency to do its artwork. Very sad indeed. BTW, enrollment is not based or caused by a print ad.
Very fresh. Pertinent message and clever.
This is brilliant!
Nice, simple thought. Breaks through the visual clutter.
Good insight + good idea + good execution = Cannes lion
Job idea been done to death. But this is a nice execution of it.
Damn worried about the creative judgement of anyone who thinks these are good. Especially when they may be looking for a vacant ECD position.
Nice creative idea. Deserves to win something in Cannes.
clever ad, I like it. well done tbwa.
I thought it was an optician ad.
Those who only criticize, what have you done lately? It’s easy to talk.
Very interesting…like it 🙂
