Eight new hires at AKQA Shanghai

Lydia_Chen_Portrait.jpgDigital network AKQA has made eight new appointments across departments in its Shanghai office. This follows numerous new business wins.

 

In account management, Lydia Chen joins as Senior Account Director. She has over 10 years experience in China and joins from SapientNitro. Chen (left) will report into Melinda Po, Group Account Director. Po’s team oversees clients including Unilever’s Lipton, Knorr, Lux, and Zhonghua brands, together with TAG Heuer, GSK and Calvin Klein.

 

“We are pleased to have Lydia join us in Shanghai at a time when the agency is showing tremendous growth and strength,” David Hunt, General Manager of AKQA China, commented on Chen’s appointment. “Her business acumen, attitude and 10 years of experience in advertising are perfect to lead a team and provide direction for many of our leading brands.”

AKQA has further strengthened its client service team with the appointments of Henrike Klug as Account Manager and Luna Dong as Project Manager. Cassie Dai and Lloyd Wang, both join as senior Account Executives.

 

The new Associate Creative Director Tian Huang joins the Shanghai creative team from Iris Worldwide in London, where she spent the last five years honing her skills as a Senior Art Director.

Huang’s appointment coincides with the arrival of Shell Ni as Producer and Bruce Ji as Associate Designer. They will work across accounts.
