Intel’s first human digital billboard flash mob
Intel’s lightweight laptop Ultrabook has transformed LA’s everyday locations into a “pop-up theater”. 60 Ultrabooks were choreographed to create the world’s first human digital billboard. These Ultrabooks were pre-programmed, and via wi-fi, the master computer controlled in real-time the images and the timing they appear on the screens.
VIEW THE IDEA
While carried out as a flash mob, each situation and image on the screen were precisely calculated and directed to fit each location. 14 locations and 3 cameras were used.
The idea was created by Party Tokyo with film production by Aoi Advertising Promotion Tokyo.
Despite the extremely low budget, the team has succeeded in ‘making the atmosphere inspiring’ as ‘Intel inspires the world’.
