Leo Burnett Hong Kong break down the wall
Leo Burnett Hong Kong have created a campaign for Orbis, which is marking its 30th year of fighting preventable blindness. Even after all this time, 39 million blind people are still trapped behind a wall of darkness.
To mark the 30th anniversary Leo Burnett wanted to get people to break down the wall of darkness which is holding so many people hostage – just like another historic moment, when the East and West Germans tore down the Berlin wall.
They created a huge dark wall across cyberspace, covered by graffiti depicting blindness-related stories of pain and sorrow. Anyone can help to tear it down by picking up a hammer and choosing a piece to break off. And for a donation, you can get the actual physical piece of the wall that you broke – just like the Berlin Wall.
