BBH China wins global Qoros car business

Qoros.jpgFollowing a two month pitch process BBH China has picked up the global account for China’s newest car brand, Qoros. Qoros is a 50/50 independent joint venture between the biggest independent car manufacturer in China, Chery Automobile and global industrial holding company, Israel Corporation.

BBH China will handle the strategic and creative work for the brand’s pre – launch and launch into the Chinese and Western European markets.

“A big part of BBH China’s passion has been about bringing Chinese brands to the rest of the world. Nothing gives us more satisfaction than working on a brand like Qoros that is destined to make its mark on the global scene,” said Arto Hampartsoumian, CEO BBH China.

Stefano Villanti, Head of Sales, Marketing and Product Strategy, Qoros said: “We are very excited to be launching the Qoros brand alongside our creative partner BBH China. We are confident they will help us succeed in our ambition to become a world renown automobile company.”

Qoros’s first sedan will be unveiled in 2013 while further models will be launched at approximately six month intervals.
