Arnab Ray joins ITSA as Creative Director
Arnab Ray has joined ITSA in India as Creative Director. Ray (left) started his career at Ogilvy in 2003. He joined Rediffusion Y&R in 2007 and later he moved to JWT in 2010 to work on Pepsi.
Daniel Upputuru, Chief Creative Officer, ITSA said Arnab is one of the most talented creatives in India: “It’s our privilege that he has joined our small family of like-minded people. He has a neat sense of the aesthetic and is always restless to find interesting ideas to see the light of day, and we at ITSA say Amen to that.”
On his appointment Ray said, “ITSA is an incredible opportunity and a challenge, both at the same time. Which makes this decision even sweeter for me. It’s the urge to break free from convention and creative limitations and tread new paths. And also the good fortune of getting a chance to evolve in the guidance and collaboration of some of the best minds like Emmanuel, Prasad, Daniel and Anirban and God willing, build a strong team of fellow creators as well. A lot has to be done and learnt and I am totally up to this.”
Ray has worked on several brands – Seagram’s, Motorola, Gillete, Incredible India, HT and Shipra Estates. Worked on Bacardi, GPI and Airtel. Also worked on Pepsi, Sony, Hero Cycles, Slice and Boost.
He has won One Show Design Merit award for work on Jam Theatre and for Corporate Identity. Entered on personal level and was ranked 11th as agency in the One Show , D&AD India List.
