In this radio spot from The Integer Group Singapore (TBWA) for 313@Somerset, a narrator takes you on a journey through human history, describing the unlikelihood of your existence and the responsibility that comes with that.

Hmmm… doing a spot to increase customer traffic to 313 mall while Tangs is the client who pays their bills…not very smart.
And the same kind of ads too.
Tangs: If theyre going to stare, make it worth their while.
313: You beat 3 million sperm to come into the world, the least you can do is put on a good shirt.
They’re obviously struggling on the proactive ad front.
Ads don’t demonstrate an agency that knows retail..
Albert…since when was Tangs a mall? Sounds like a brand spot to me. Then again what would I know, I’m just a junior art director.
when cannes is near you are reminded again that radio ads are important. maybe QR code will follow soon?
Loved your comment Graham.
The script sounds like Chapter One of Peter Ustinov’s auto bio : Dear Me.
Nice to see that the writer is into books without pictures.
If customers shop at 313 instead of Tangs, it’s Tangs’ financial loss. Which makes 313 is a competitor. Very poor understanding of professional ethics here. Maybe someone from Tangs will explain it to you better.
i can think of 3 million reasons why i need a new shirt but the improbability of my birth is not one of them.
It’s head and shoulders above the usual crap on radio. Good work.
A cheap gag that won”t sell one shirt but will remind us that no one comes close to Douglas Adams
LOL…they cleverly changed the agency name to Integer Group so there is no conflict. That’s more like it.
The only reaction to this radio spot by a singapore consumer will be ‘huh?’
This kind of radio is so cliche, outdated….where you talk some obscure nonsense for 55 seconds and somehow force in the product in the last 5 seconds.
No real client would aprove this unless it was presented for free.
Patrice you obviously have a huge chip about the agency responsible for this spot…maybe you got the flick from them because you were crap and are harbouring a huge resentment towards them.
I’m a writer and I wish I had written this. It’s a great compelling piece of radio…theatre of the mind. Well done to the writer. You can come and work in our agency anytime
This is the sort of desperate spot you do when you don’t know what to say about the product.
Also, I didn’t know 313 sold just shirts. Has the agency ever been there?
Hope it wins you some sort of finalist award because its sure as hell not going to do anything else.
