Ziebinski Jarek_1.jpgLeo Burnett has pulled off a major coup at AdFest this year – being named “Network of the Year”.

With its awards haul totaling 44 including 1 Grande Lotus in Press, 1 Effective Lotus, 1 Grande for Humanity, 4 Gold, 14 Silver, 23 Bronze and 32 Finalists, Leo Burnett dominated the Network tally by a large margin to claim the festival’s most coveted award.

At the same event, Leo Burnett Melbourne was also named the “Direct & Promo Agency of the Year”. In addition to that, Diageo Australia was named “Advertiser of the Year” on the back of Leo Burnett Sydney’s work for the brand.

A total of 13 offices including Melbourne, Sydney, Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Colombo, Mumbai, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Taipei, Beirut and Dubai contributed to this achievement. With nominations and wins across all categories, the accolade once again demonstrated the depth and breadth of the network’s creativity prowess that exist across its offices.

“Being recognised by AdFest as the most creative network in Asia Pacific is a wonderful recognition that is made possible by the collective hard work of each and every Burnetter across the region, I couldn’t be more proud.  As one of the fastest growing networks in Asia Pacific, we believe that creativity has a direct correlation with business success. Winning Network of the Year at ADFEST this year and being crowned Creative Network of the Year in Asia Pacific by The Gunn Report last year are testaments to this belief,” said Jarek Ziebinski (above), President, Leo Burnett Asia Pacific.
