Mark Cleary and Leo Poloniecki bolster creative department at Bates CHI&Partners Singapore
Bates CHI&Partners has added two senior creatives with Mark Cleary joining as Head of Art and Leo Poloniecki as Senior Copywriter. The new hires are part of Bates CHI&Partners’ ongoing plan to seek and foster talents in the industry, in establishing a world-class standard of creative product.
Both Cleary (right) and Poloniecki (left) will be based in Singapore, Bates CHI&Partners’ regional HQ, and report to the recently-appointed Louise Kuegler, Regional Client Services Director and Managing Director of Singapore, and Jason Aspes, Executive Creative Director. They are tasked with global and regional creative responsibilities.
Cleary joins Bates CHI&Partners with 18 years of experience in design and advertising. He was previously a Senior Art Director at Ogilvy & Mather Sydney, where he created notable works for clients like Coca-Cola, American Express, Nestle, and GlaxoSmithKline, amongst others.
Poloniecki has been working in advertising for 13 years, beginning his career at WCRS in London. A Cannes Young Creatives competition winner in 2000, he has written global integrated campaigns for Coca-Cola at Draft FCB, Jaguar at Euro RSCG, and Samsung at Wunderman.
Of his appointment, Poloniecki says: “The agency has an appetite for success matched only by the proven depth of experience of the people in the room. It’s a thrilling time to get involved.”
“Mark and Leo are a couple of great guys, who bring with them the combination of skills we need, matched with a brilliant attitude. They’re perfect for our vision to deliver big ideas for ambitious brands, and they’re off to a cracking start already.” says Kuegler.
