DDB Guoan hires Andreas von Loeper to head Volkswagen Group’s Import Company account
DDB Guoan has appointed Andreas von Loeper as Vice President and Business Director for Volkswagen Group’s Import Company, DDB Guoan Beijing’s largest integrated client business.
von Loeper brings with him a wealth of experience in the communication industry, with a specific focus on managing brands in the automotive industry that ranges from developing marketing and communication strategies to creating and implementing campaigns that work on a global and national level.
He previously spent nearly 10 years in management positions with BBDO Germany and BBDO Worldwide. Most recently, von Loeper ran the Mercedes-Benz business for BBDO in Greater China and prior to that he worked as part of the Global Management Team for the BBDO Daimler business and also helped build the global agency network for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars. Prior to that von Loeper was with BBDO Germany as Client Services Director on the global smart account.
He has also worked in management consulting focusing on corporate sales and marketing strategies, giving him insight into other industries, including telecommunications, aviation, transportation and SMEs. von Loeper will report directly to Richard Tan, President and CEO of DDB Group North China.
