“necomimi” is a new augmented human organ that utilizes brainwaves for a new way of communication. It utilizes a specially made brainwave sensor that senses the status of the human brain and emotions. For example, the ears will stand up when the user is “focused,” and lie down when the user is “relaxed.” It has been an enormous hit, with the concept video on YouTube being played more than 3 million times. It was also selected as one of TIME Magazine’s “BEST 50 INNOVATIONS OF THE YEAR” in 2011.

Employing the 360° Spherical Vision Camera, we created a spherical view, and combined it with the Head Mounted Display to which a gyro-sensor is mounted. A new video experience is formed by flexibly moving the video display, according to the change in direction of your face. This is an innovative video experience that lets you feel as if you have warped to a completely alternative world.
