Cannes Contenders: Leo Burnett India
In the lead up to the Cannes Lions Festival, Campaign Brief Asia will be showcasing work from some of Asia’s top agencies that we hope will impress the judges…
Coke Studio
Leo Burnett India
To connect with the youth of the youngest country in the world, Coca Cola India launched Coke Studio – a platform where musicians from diverse genres came together to create unique, never-been-explored fusion music. This distinct combination of popular music and Indian traditional music was an instant hit. This innovative magazine ad is part of promotion for Coke Studio Season 2 and it celebrates Usha Uthup, a popular Indian singer who featured in the show. Musical instruments representing various genres have been arranged in an abstract pattern. The ad urges you to place your complimentary Coke can onto the ad. This action triggers the embedded sound chip to play a popular Coke Studio song sung by Usha Uthup. Simultaneously the reflection of the abstract instrumental art on the Coke can results into a beautiful portrait of Usha Uthup wearing her trademark bindi on the forehead.
Bio Farm
Leo Burnett India
Instead of only creating a new visual design on the existing plastic packaging, we decided to go for a radical overhaul of the packaging. We wanted to create a new packaging that would take the company’s philosophy of being eco-friendly to a new level. Thus was born the ‘Good Paper Project’, a packaging design that used Bio-Farm fertilizer itself to create environment-friendly design.
