32 entries from Asia make it through to the shortlist stage in Direct at Cannes Lions

Japan is leading the way in the number of shortlists in the Direct category at this year’s Cannes Lions Festival.
The shortlist, released this morning, has 247 entries that made the cut. It includes 6 Japanese entries. Korea, Thailand China, Hong Kong, and Singapore all have 4 entries shortlisted. India has 3 and Malaysia and Taiwan have one each.
The direct jury, lead by Leo Burnett’s Mark Tutssel, is pictured. The Direct Lions ceremony will be held tomorrow night at the Palais.
