Heineken releases fourth episode in its ‘Dropped’ campaign via Wieden+Kennedy, Amsterdam
Heineken has released ‘Poland’, the fourth episode in its ‘Dropped’ campaign created by Wieden+ Kennedy Amsterdam.
The premise of the campaign is based on Heineken’s belief that all men have a legendary traveller trapped inside them, just waiting to come out. To put this theory to the test the Dropped campaign was initiated with a series of episodic adventures taking real men out of their daily lives and dropping them into the great unknown.
The previous three episodes in the series have seen sun-loving Spaniard Rikar Gil being dropped in Alaska, Greek yoga instructor Stavros Kottas dropped in the middle of the Cambodian jungle and American William Englehardt dropped in the bustling medina of Marrakech. The campaign still has one more exciting journey to come as Heineken sets out to prove that legends aren’t born, they’re dropped.
In the latest episodic adventure a happy-go-lucky Capetonian Clint Jacobs is dropped at the Polish border. His mission was to get to Berlin and put on a circus show, armed with only a tandem bike and a circus master’s uniform. After a slow start, Clint used his charm, hustle and wit to find travel companions and performers for his popup circus. This journey was not measured in miles traveled, but in friends made.
