GO Communications expands P.R. Network adding Philippines Partnership to their portfolio

Michael de Kretser Chief Executive Officer GO Communications (2).jpgGO Communications’ Asian expansion continues by forming a partnership with NGP Integrated Marketing Communications in the Philippines.

The announcement was made at a press conference held in Manila with GO Communications CEO Michael de Kretser (left) and NGP Managing Director Nancy Pascual.

The partnership with NGP is the fifth for the GO Group in the last 12 months.The partnership’s in the region include Japan, Thailand, Cambodia, Sri Lanka and the Philippines. Within the next few months the GO Group will finalise PR partnerships in India and Laos.

GO Communications CEO Michael de Kretser said, “the Philippines is one of the ‘tiger cub’ economies of ASEAN and we have found a partner with the same vision and capabilities to provide effective solutions for our clients’. He added, “the country is in the midst of strong economic growth with GDP averaging 8% – the highest in Asia”.

Nancy G  Pascual, Managing Director of NGPIMC.jpgNGP Managing Director, Nancy Pascual, (left) who was formerly the Press and PR Officer of a former Philippines Senate President said, “NGP will have access to GO Communications’ extensive knowledge of the Malaysian and Asian business environment plus its growing Asian network”.

Pascual said, “We now have the opportunity to tap into the GO Group’s client base, expertise and creativity.  “In addition Malaysian companies are starting to establish offices in the Philippines and tourists from Malaysia is the second highest from ASEAN countries”.

De Kretser said, “the GO Group’s blueprint strategy to build Asia’s largest independent PR network is different from other multi-national agencies.

“We select our partners in each country that have the same DNA, leadership qualities to grow and understand the dynamics of the country.  “Each country retains its culture, independence and proven methods of operating”.

He concluded, “each country is under the GO Group umbrella have the opportunity to share knowledge, clients and expertise that benefits each country and the Group”.
