Getty Images to explore visual storytelling and the future of video at Spikes Asia festival
Getty Images will collaborate with award-winning production and installation artists, The Light Surgeons, to produce a dynamic video showcasing the future of video and the rise of transmedia storytelling at the upcoming Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity.
Made up of synonymous screens, the wall will allow delegates to interact with Getty Images creative video content in a unique and playful way. Getty Images’ debut of the video wall earlier this year at Cannes Lions can be viewed here.
“Video consumption has experienced outstanding growth in recent years, especially via online and mobile platforms, as well as motion-enabled advertising like billboards and outdoor digital screens. Demand for a transmedia experience is seeing advertising strategies shift from static to dynamic content, often co-created through audience participation, enabling consumers to interact with brand stories in unprecedented ways” Elvira Lodewick, Marketing Director, APAC at Getty Images said. “The Getty Images team is excited to share its creative insight, trend discovery and vast video offering with delegates at Spikes.”
Getty Images will also be sponsoring the Young Spikes Competition for the second year, providing exclusive content to help entrants produce inspiring and award-winning campaigns.
